Hi everyone! My name’s Alyse and I’m brand new to the SL. I’m warning you now, I’m a little nervous so I may ramble on a bit in this post. Anywho! I just brought in 23 year-old Shya M. Lee of New York City. Did I forget to mention that she’s a witch? Shya didn’t learn about her magic until she was going through puberty and she has pretty much kept the fact that she is a witch to herself. The reason for is this because she doesn’t know how she was lucky enough to get the magic gene since her mother isn’t a witch (her dad is a witch, but Shya was the lovely creation of a one-night stand) and her step-father is extremely anti-supernatural. Shya made the excuse to her family that she was moving to Europe to further her career with being a hairstylist/make-up artist. That wasn’t really a complete lie since she did move and is working as a hairstylist at Birch Creek Barbershop/Salon. Her move to Birch Creek is extremely recent and she’s trying to adjust from living in a big city to well…a reserve.

I’d love to get some lines for her! Friends, co-workers, people who could help her adjust to her new life on the reserve, or maybe people who’d want to make it a little difficult. I’m completely open to ideas! Feel free to shoot me an IM at either shya has style (IC sn) or onebluerose431 (my OOC sn)!

	Jacks here would probably be nice (or try to), but she's a girl from Boston, and she's very, very, very proud of it. I've got five others; June - a witch, Val - a polar bear from New York, Reid - a kangaroo movie director (who'd probably try to get her to come to the world of movie makeup), Alex - a vampire, and Mike - a human. That'd be great! June's working on creating a fashion line, so there could be something there. Val works at the Dizzy Trout, and cooks like a maniac and would probably try to feed her. Alex is an ass, but he does own the local gym, and is usually found shirtless and playing basketball. Mike's got like... no lines. He works at the Liffey as a bartender, and as a fireman.

Oh nice! Shya could give June some sort of help since her mom was really involved in the fashion industry. Haha! Shya isn't one to turn down food so she'll definitely try to make her way out to the Dizzy Trout. Shya may venture out to the gym and well, when it comes to shirtless guys, she may drool a bit. Haha jk! And if you'd like to come up with some kind of line for Mike and Shya I'm up for it!

HELLO ALYSE!

Welcome to Birch....sorry it took me so long to reply to this post, but I AM happy to see you and Shya both at the game. My name is Rhowan, and I currently have three cahracters here, so let's figure something outttt.

Two of them there may not be much with, but I'm open to ANYTHING, seriously. Jessica Darling

witchlet is a teenage witch. It's entirely possible that she'll be all fangirlish around Shya (we could have her come get her hair done sometime, if nothing else) because Shya's a pretty witch with a sophisticated sense of fashion from a city. And Jessica can be a girly girl (even though she's really NOT, that much, but she's sort of fascinated with people who are), so yeah. She'll think Shya is cool, if nothing else.

petemarch is one of five brothers living in town, the youngest of which is a were. So right now he's a twenty six year old human plumber, and he's a really obnoxious dude. He's also slightly anti-social, since he's obsessed with his brothers and doesn't go out much to the bars and stuff. He's typically friendly, though, and I'm thinking he'll be nice enough to Shya if/when they interact.

HOWEVER!
I have another human, a twenty three year old name Katelyn (this account), and I think they should just flat out be friends. There, I said it. ;D She's lived in Birch all her life, and she's extremely friendly and just...KIND. Which is weird, for a character of mine. Anyway. She's bubbly and goofy and not really very cool, but she's not socially inept, either, and she's already friends with Delilah. She works as the town orientator, greeting people and helping them as they move in and stuff, so it might work to say they've already met through that, if you guys are willing? She'll definitely do her best at helping Shya adjust; she's not from the city but she does usually have a good time.

Haha! Shya will have a lot of fun talking with Jessica, especially about clothes and fashion. Shya's really friendly so they could have fun chatting whenever she comes by the shop or elsewhere!

Shya'll be nice to Pete. But, if he's ever obnoxious around here, she might have too much fun with that and attempt to push his buttons or whatever just for kicks. If he gets mad at her, she'd buy him a burger or something so he won't stay mad at her.

Friends are always kickass, so I have no problem with it! But I really love that idea! Right now, Shya's kinda experiencing a culture shock being in B.C. because she's used to the city life. I'm almost afraid of what her first reaction will be like on the next full moon. LOL! And since Katelyn also knows Delilah, she's automatically cool in Shya's book!

Hello Alyse! :D I'm Maureen and I'm so glad you're here!!! Birch Creek has so many amazing writers, it's such a great game. So welcome!

I have five characters at the present moment. Four are fairly friendly and one is not. He's not overly rude, but he's not friends with any kind of werecreatures at all and he does and doesn't get along with men.

quiinnn, since we're talking about him, is 450 years old. He accidentally killed his girlfriend/almost fiance/sire when he got angry and accidentally toppled a table and lit her on fire. She burned to death and he never quite got over it. He sired three girls and a guy, two out of compassion, one out of request, and one for spite. Lissy is the only one in game, which is a shame because the lines are pretty neat! Elizabeth, his sire, was reincarnated and she's moved in with him which makes him happy and angry at the same time. He has a hard time playing nice when his previous entertainment was picking up women. Now, he's struggling to play contented boyfriend which is and isn't working out well. So if Shya would like to be friends, it'll be a strained friendship. He goes through moods. But he's not overly nasty. :D

devonc, 18, is running away from vampires that want to kill his girlfriend, Lyra, so he's fairly quiet. But he's adorable and sweet and he loves friends! He's also a vampire.

aliiciaa is 15, a recently turned werewolf, and an unhappy teenager. She's rather quiet at the moment because her muse flickers, but she's a lot of fun, too. She'll probably bother Shya for a new haircut every month or so. Her hair grows fast.

argrant is 27-28. He's a witch and he used to work as a profiler in Rhode Island. He moved to be with his brother, Preston, and his sister, Cassandra. He's careful about how he handles magic because he knows what the dark stuff can do to a person, but he's very kind. His dog, Clayton, is not so kind, however, and he likes to bite. Shya would see a lot of him too, as he gets his haircut on routine. She'd probably get to make friends with Clay if she's not too afraid of dogs! :D

leolloyd was recently detained by the government for being illegally on the property of Birch Creek. He didn't register, he's actually a citizen of Canada, so he's a little flighty. He's a WereSnow Leopard, so he's very territorial, but sweet. He was previously hiding under Jenny's couch. He would be friends with Shya if Jenny knew her. But mostly in passing.

Thank you so much for the welcome, Maureen! Even though I've only been in the game for a short time, I'm already in love with it.

Friendship lines = love. And if she and Quinn's friendship is strained, that'll add an interesting twist to it. Shya isn't one to tolerate moods much, so if he's snappy/cranky or whatever with her, she may or may not call him out on it. But it'll all be out of love though!

And Shya loves nice people so I'm sure that she and Devon will get along!

Psh she won't bother Shya at all. She'll love having a regular customer come in. And if she's ever sad, Shya'll try to cheer her up!

Yay for another witch friend! She'll have fun chatting with him whenever he's around the shop, or if she runs into him elsewhere! And she's not scared of dogs. Her mom had a little ankle biter of a dog and she'd always give it a no-so-gentle love tap with her foot, so she may be able to handle Clay's dog.

Shya hasn't met Jenny yet, but when and if that'll happen, and whenever she'll get a chance to meet, it'll be nice to be able to chat with him and for him to be a familiar face around B.C.!
