Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Hey! :D This is Alicia Kowalczyk. She's 15, friends with Hallie already, and I have to talk to Ivan to cement whether she's trying OUT for the squad or if she's already on.

Her main goal in life, at fifteen, is to drive her mother crazy. We feel this has been achieved time and time again. But Ali doesn't hate her mother (even though this can be heard down the block if you catch them in the middle of a fight), she just wants to do her thing since Laurie got to do 'whatever she wanted' when she was her age. She's feisty and fiery, but she's not afraid to let you know when it's gone too far.

She was born to Laurie Kowalczyk when she was just a teenager and the father didn't stick around to see her get 'huge' or 'pop'. Even though Alicia has never met him and she'd probably never want to, she's insistent that any man that isn't her father (besides Izaak) shouldn't be brought into the house. She insists a lot of the time, since Laurie has never had any lasting relationships, that she must be waiting for him to come back too because she loves him. Though if he DID come back, she'd probably dive in front of a bus to keep Laurie distracted from ever seeing him. She likes to be a pain, but she doesn't want to hurt her mother. Ever.

In fact, if you ever had something nasty to say about Ali and Laurie, it's most definitely wiser to 'hold your breath' because Ali won't stand for 'trash talk'. She's been suspended twice because of it. Not that she isn't a teenage girl with an ear for gossip--she loves it just like the rest of them. But she'd rather be the center of the problem than bring her mother into it. She's friends with Hallie Daly, but not everyone sees the calm, intelligent side of Alicia. For the most part, they see the girl who'll do anything for a bit of attention. She's got to make up for the lack of it somewhere!

If you're ever looking for her, you'll most likely find her throwing rocks at street lamps, kicking down mail boxes, and drinking underage. Most of the things Alicia does, she does to drive her mother crazy. It's also no secret that she's completely boy crazy. So watch out! If she's lingering, staring pointedly and fluttering her eyelashes, she's probably decided to make it known that she 'thinks you're hot'. A lot of other things she does, like pretending she's old enough to drink (which is incidentally why she and her mother were bitten by a werewolf) are for the male kind of attention. If she shakes the right way and promises all the right things, she can try to fill that void that she feels she has. She isn't shy and she most certainly isn't afraid to ask for what she wants.

But contrary to what the above says, she's also very intelligent. She knows her limits and she'll strongly encourage that you follow them. If you don't, there will be 'hell to pay'. Not just from Alicia either. So keep your hands to yourself unless you've got permission! She tries to squander her intelligence to dumb herself down so the boys will find her attractive which does and doesn't help sometimes. For the most part, however, she sticks to doing things her mother wouldn't approve of. At the present moment, this consists of smoking at the breakfast table, lighting the garbage on fire (with her report card in it), sneaking out, and bothering her mother's staff. Like Drew March.

She also feels terribly guilty, however, because the whole reason she and her mother are in Alaska is because of her. If she hadn't been drinking and showing off, she never would have gotten her mother outside and they never would have fought and then they never would have been bitten by the werewolf. She still cries, often, at the thought of losing her mother. Because while they're not best friends, they're still incredibly close and there's nothing worse in the entire world than the thought of losing Laurie. This is another reason why she spends time at Lucy's. She's definitely not afraid to show her friends who her mother is.

She'll need friends and enemies, because there's always SOMEONE to talk about, boys to crush on, boys that potentially like her? Friends and role-models. She'll eventually think about joining the Lost pack because she's having a terrible time with changing. We like any kind of plot! :D Her AIM is amazing aliciaa and mine is crazypantsmk!

I feel like Lexi is a bit similar, at least in the whole rebelliousness part. And she's only a year older. So, I could see them being friends, unless being too similar with the whole rebel thing pushes them apart. Thoughts?

I think they could definitely be friends and drive each other crazy at the same time. So maybe off and on friends? The kind that are amazingly close when they're not pushing each other away? I imagine Ali would be banging on her window at three in the morning to paint body outlines at the school. Pranks and the like.

Unless you disapprove. Your thoughts?

Heh. That kind of amuses me. But yes, I think off and on friends would be good.

Wonderful! It just seemed to fit. Not everyone can be friends all the time.

well, we've already established the plot with my incoming character.

as for oli, they probably won't be friends. he's quiet and much too old.

calypso wouldn't have much to do with her, either. she keeps to herself and arthur (and her age group).

kat, however, can be friendly? she's not much older and always looking for something to do.

Maureeeeeen!

Jessica? Would Alicia be able to stand Jessica? She has kind of lead a sheltered existence, and she might not be willing to go IN on all the rebellion, but perhaps some of it. And she definitely thinks that Laurie is just about the coolest mom in the history of moms, so.

I know that she would like Alicia well enough to hang around with her at school and stuff....she's not really a girly girl, so I could see them actually potentially becoming close, if Alicia is willing to put up with her...

Alicia can stand a lot of people. But if Jessica makes her angry, she'll award her with a snide comment. It's just how things work with her. Typical unhappy teenager! Secretly, she's glad Jessica thinks Laurie is cool, but if she wants to stay as 'part of the in crowd', in terms of Ali, she'd best not say it.

I hope that they COULD become close. She's jealous of the ongoing girl pack.

Haha, I'm not really sure a snide comment would stand in the way of Jessica being friends with someone. Especially if she knew she deserved it. And I don't think she'll be mentioning anything about Laurie, since it's not really a terribly CONSCIOUS thought. XD

I am all for Alicia being dragged into the girl pack. Jessica volunteers to help!

Hi Maureennnnn! I'm sorry, I have been terribly slow. >.< Life has been way too hectic recently. Please forgive me!

Anyway, I think Rayen is probably our best bet for Alicia, because Ray's pretty all for the wild child kinds of antics, and she'll love having someone else around to be boy crazy with, for sure! XD Probably, Alicia will get Ray into MORE trouble than usual, which we're all for over here! >.>

More innocent little Alice probably won't quite know what to make of Alicia, except she'll definitely like her. Alice is just liable to get even quieter and intimidated around her, so I dunno, depends on how Alicia takes to Alice, perhaps?

And then of course there's Drew. XD Gah, I need to get my act together and talk to Lindsey (and the mods!) about getting him officially on staff at Lucy's ASAP! But yes, we talked about this a bit before. Drew's going to be horribly awkward around her, I can't wait! =D!
