Talking usually came hard to some. Especially for those who felt they should have a handle on the whirlwinds that Xavier's felt keen to throw time and time again. Vea felt that way a lot of the time. Since she had now spent years here, and so far was not headed anywhere else, V felt that she should be better prepared for the "episodes" that constantly occurred on the grounds. But she never was. Not once had she anticipated the chaos that ensued in the place that she was calling home. Maybe it was juvenile for her to think she should be able to stop any of it, but Vea wanted to be a part of the glory at some point in her life. Besides, what were these powers for if not to regulate the adventures that came with having them? Why would she be given the talent in the first place? Was it a test by the divine? Was it a cruel inside joke? Would she ever find out?

"Thanks." Vea nodded when Luka flipped the switch on. Sure, light would be ideal when making something in the kitchen, especially when the sun hadn't decided to come up yet. Vea found two large mugs for her to work with. She opened the Hershey's bar, split it in half, and put a piece in each mug. After that she filled the glasses halfway with water and then put them in the microwave on high. Vea leaned against the counter and watched the cups spin in the lit portal with tired eyes. For some reason whenever she put cups in the microwave she thought of the teacups at Disneyland. Same rotation.

"So, 'wat has ya up? Do ya often roam the kitch'in without a purpose this early?" Vea turned his way with interest and a smile.
