of_the_angels ([info]of_the_angels) wrote in [info]beyond_evo,
Vea could relate when it came to not sleeping. With a mutation like hers she dreaded nightmares. Her first nightmare at the mansion had resulted in bringing out someones fear. It wasn't something that she wanted a repeat of. Not anytime soon. And lately her dreams had been so erratic she could only sleep in intervals, constantly checking her hands for that telltale blue aura. Good thing so far nothing had happened. Vea wanted to keep it that way. Though she'd had a better rein over her powers it was still something she kept a close eye on.

On the other hand ever since she'd gotten her own room, Vea had been on cloud nine. Not having Eudora within spitting distance was such a relief. Her stress level had lowered dramatically since becoming a resident. Their continued existence around one another would not have worked out. More then once Vea dreamed about cutting Eww-dora's hair and then woke up with a start hoping she hadn't released something that would do just that. Then again, seeing the face of the little princess should that have happened? It would have been epic. If only Vea could have gotten away with it, magic would have happened.

Vea didn't have anything to do that day, so she had woken up early. Because, you know, when you don't have to wake up at the ass crack of dawn that's when your body wants to. Instead of fighting it, Vea had decided to go for a walk in the hopes of tiring her body out. The inner halls of Xavier's hadn't done the trick, so Vea switched to walking outside for a while. There was a chill in the air. It felt so nice. Vea circled the grounds once or twice without any destination and let her mind wander. Her continued stay at the mansion had been a constant debate in her mind. Whenever the issue had popped in her mind she was torn. Vea wasn't going anywhere as long as her daughter was here. But the day would come when Tati left. Vea refused to let herself become too comfortable with her around. Once her daughter returned to where she was supposed to be, Vea would be lost all over again. After that, a move would be ideal. She wouldn't be able to muster through another heartbreak with a smile, not in these halls.

Her mind was veering to things far too depressing, so Vea headed back to the house. This was too much right now. At this rate she would never go to sleep. Vea got back to the house and headed for the kitchen. She wanted something chocolaty, something comforting. And since she had a once track mind at the moment, she jumped a little when she saw that Luka already had dibs on whatever was in there. Embarrassing, she hadn't seen the light from the fridge until she had walked halfway into the kitchen.

"Oh," Vea crossed her arms over her chest, since her pjs were a tank top and baggy pants with chillies on them. And her hair was mussed about her shoulders. Maybe not a state she should be seen in, especially by someone part of the faculty.

"Hey, I got next."
