I Will Buy You A New Car, Perfect Shiney And New...(Open to Jaya)
Brian had been a bit scarce as of late. Finals had kicked his ass but with hard work and focus he had passed with flying colors. It had meant no time for Jaya, his sister, or anything else but he had apologized profusely for it. Then after his last day of class he and Vea got a surprise visit from their dad. It was his yearly visit where he would show up and spoil the hell out of them both. Since Vea had just met Vincent a few years back she was still unused to the treatment and did not ask for anything. But Brian had gotten a brilliant idea from his father's generosity and decided to take advantage of the old man. Its not like Vincent minded. All of his free ways with money were the result of guilt. Guilt with fact that he had taken Tag away from his mother after the brutal divorce settlement. And then guilt with the fact that he did not know about Vea for nineteen years. Vincent did not know any other way to let them know that he loved them, so he lavished them with monetary security.

Brian wasn't complaining. He'd been used to it for years. And he planned on being used to it for however long Vincent doled it out.

Walking toward Jaya's new room with flowers and a blindfold, Brian smiled. He loved coming to her with surprises. And since she loved being the recipient of attention, Brian knew she would reward him for his good behavior. It was just what he needed after spending weeks in what felt like solitary confinement. Even though Bry knew all his hard work would eventually pay off it was hard to convince himself to push through it all. But if he wanted to amount to anything he knew that he had to keep at it. His career choice was turning out to be an easier shot then he'd anticipated, but it called for more work then play. It was time for some play. He knocked on Jaya's door with a persistent rap of his knuckles and a stupid grin on his face. This was going to be perfect.

Jaya had certainly noticed the scarceness, especially since there weren’t even classes now to put up the illusion of distraction. As much as she hated being one of ‘those girls’, she got kind of pouty when she didn’t get to spend as much time with her boyfriend as she wanted. They’d briefly seen more of each other during the end of classes/graduation time since in addition to Brian’s dad making his yearly visit, Jaya’s parents had come down for her graduation. The meeting of parents had somehow gone smoothly and without any mortifying incidents on either ends, which Jaya was grateful for. But after that it had gone back to not seeing much of each other. That she had not been happy about, but she had dealt with it.

Being a resident now meant she no longer had a roommate to entertain her either, so the knock on her door was extremely welcome, and Jaya pretty much bounced up to answer it. Finding Brian on the other side prompted an unmistakably flirty grin. “Flowers and a blindfold. Wow.” Their relationship had progressed to ‘all the way’ pretty much right at the beginning so it wasn’t the first time an encounter between the two of them had involved either of those things. But the combination did pique her curiosity. Her grin widened a little bit, the playful tone in her voice obvious. “And exactly what are those for, mister?”

If Brian knew that Jaya had been pouty due to him not being around it would have gone straight to his head. Especially since he had been missing her as well. It had been a big couple of weeks for them. Thank God it was all dying down. With all the parents that had been running in and out the mansion it had been hectic. On the plus side Brian felt like he and Jaya had passed a major milestone in their relationship. Meeting parents? You don't do that with your average booty call. Obviously they meant something more to each other. Which was good to know, since Bry had been tired of the usual scene.

Oh he felt like such a stud right now. With his chest puffed out and his stance wide, Bry felt like he had so much to offer her. All he needed now was a cape to go with all this chivalry. Brian smiled even wider and pulled Jaya closer. "Well, I just felt like spoiling you. You're not complaining, are you?" Tugging her arm, he pulled her away from the door and handed her the blindfold.

"Put it on. I have a surprise for you."

Meeting parents was a big deal, especially when you were to the point of actually worrying whether or not they approved or how it all turned out. As relationships for Jaya went, theirs was a pretty solid one and yes, more than just meaning they both had someone to call when they were horny. While Jaya hadn’t exactly tired of her previous scene, she hadn’t exactly been happy with it either, and the change had been good for her. Brian was good for her, and she knew it. Jaya also knew about her own tendency to screw up relationships that had any chance at being real, and was kind of surprised she hadn’t accidentally done something to sabotage it all yet. She was really crossing her fingers that didn’t happen.

She could did the cape thing. That might be something they have to look into later on, even. When Brian pulled her close, she slipped her arms around him. “Of course I’m not complaining!” Taking the blindfold, Jaya briefly gave him an ‘what are you up to look’, but naturally she was playing along. “Ok. I love surprises.” Like it even needed to be said. Anyone who knew Jaya well enough knew that she would certainly never protest to attention or surprises or presents or anything in that general category.

Jaya took that cloth way too easily. It actually made him chuckle. Brian helped her tie the blindfold and then stood there for a moment drinking the sight in. He even got a little obligatory grope in. Hey, he was giving her a surprise so didn't he deserve it? Somehow he managed to convince himself that he did. And it was no secret that Bry truly loved Jaya's body. It was certain the entire school knew it by this point. He teased her a little more, then began to perilous trek down the hall. It turned out that it was kind of hard to lead her, maybe he didn't think this through all the way. But Brian got a good grip on her shoulders and veered her all the way.

The stairs were a whole other negotiation. Brian stood in front of her and held both of her hands, taking it slow. He talked her through it since it had to be awkward for her. This would all get fun soon enough. All of his planning would not go to waste. Maybe I should have drove the thing up here...

Soon enough they were at the garage. Brian positioned and repositioned Jaya over and over again, making the anticipation even worse. "Stand here...no wait...here...okay, maybe a little more to the left...little more...too far, okay go to the right...too far! Just a little step...okay step forward...stop. Alright." He bothered her with waiting until finally he pulled her blindfold off.

"Ta da!" he grandly spread his arms out and pointed to her gift.

As if there was any way she wouldn’t have? Come on now. That was about as given as whether or not Brian would cop a feel whenever he had the chance. Or whether or not Jaya would take the chance to snuggle up to him as soon as there was an opportunity.

Getting through the school blindfolded was something of a hilarity, and pretty much the instant Jaya couldn’t see where she was going there were six little extra eyes on the scene taking things in like little green guard dogs. But Jaya obviously wasn’t upset or distressed, and actually enjoying the little game so they didn’t interfere but just lingered about, staying out of the way and mostly out of sight. Going through the school was a bit awkward at times, and Jaya ended up in Brian’s arms at least once while descending those stairs, possibly on purpose. The progression prompted a few ‘Where are we goings’ and ‘Are we there yets’ along the way. Jaya was going with the flow while at the same time being playfully impatient. Brian moving her around the garage just prompted a series of giggles as she was pretty sure was teasing him, even if she still didn’t know what was going on.

Once the blindfold was off Jaya blinked to let her eyes adjust to the light again. And then her mouth fell open a little. In front of them was an adorable little car and while she was pretty sure what was going on now, assuming in a situation like this could be ridiculously awkward. Whipping her head around she looked a Brian. “Babe, what’s this about?” It’s for her, right? Just go on and tell her it’s hers so it can be all official and you can score some major boyfriend points here.

Oh it didn't take much for Brian to grope Jaya. That much was definite. All the girl had to do was look at him in order to get his pants dancing. It must be why everyone in the school found them so annoying. Or, rather, it must be why everyone in the school was so jealous of them.

Being blindfolded in the bedroom was one thing. Walking around the school blindfolded was a whole other deal. At least Jaya couldn't see the weird looks that they were getting by the other passersby. And at least Brian wasn't really paying attention to them in order to care much about it. His eyes were on Jaya's smiling face the entire time. Besides, the curious crowd would find out soon enough what an awesome boyfriend he was. Maybe he'd get a mug or something just so that it could stay imprinted in their subconsciousness. And Jaya could make it worse by posting, "my boyfriend rocks harder then your boyfriend!" posts for the rest of the month. Ah, glory. It tasted so sweet.

Once they got there, he only wanted to prolong the excitement. That was why he had teased her for so long. But she had loved it, so it all worked out. She was going to love this more. Or...so he'd thought. Jaya seemed to be in a happy shock. Well lets face it, this is a really big gift to give. But Brian liked to do big shows. He was good at them. At the same time, the fact that she was rendered speechless was really funny. Brian rose a brow at her adorable reaction.

"Well, I was going to drive it myself...but my legs are too long." He scratched the back of his head with the joke, but when she still looked unsure he laughed. "Of course its for you! Its your graduation present. This way you wont have to buy transit cards all fall. Can I have my kiss now?"

Jealous. She’s definitely going with that one. They probably did annoy people as well but hey, like it was their fault they were one of the couples happy enough to be all over each other whenever possible? Hate the game, ok?

Yeah, they would all know soon enough because there was no way in hell Jaya was going to keep quiet about something like this. If Brian wanted a mug, he was so getting one. Or a t-shirt or- anything, really. It certainly wasn’t going to be the only thing he would get as a direct result from this. But both of them already knew that. Jaya hadn’t really mentioned it to well, anybody, but she would be attending college in the fall. It was another thing she had to thank Brian for, since he was the one who’d encouraged her to get her applications and paper work and all that jazz done properly and done on time. And it was a good thing, too, since her parents weren’t exactly keen on the idea of her staying at Xavier’s without having a reason to stay in the area. So it had been a win/win situation- that had now moved to a situation made of COMPLETE win.

With that little sly confirmation she pretty much jumped up into his arms. “Oh my God, shut up!” Like she didn’t know she was short, but whatever. “You are so getting more than a kiss for this and you know it.” After eagerly delivering the desired kiss she giggled again. Then jumped back down to squee at her new car, and there might have even been a little girlish bounce of happiness. “Oh my God, it’s so cute!” Just like her. Perfect.

He felt like more of a man when she jumped in his arms. Brian caught her easily and enjoyed the full effect of her kiss. Fantastic. When she hopped down again he couldn't help himself from laughing. "It made me think of you the minute I saw it on the lot. I knew that it was yours." Brian somehow handed her the keys in the middle of her excited dancing.

Watching her jump around was worth all his effort. He'd gone the extra mile for more reason then one. Brian knew that she really needed the wheels. He wouldn't have felt right with her riding the bus in the middle of the city all alone, especially with classes that might possibly end around the evening. Sure, he would have been more then happy to drive her around himself, but if their schedules conflicted then he would not be able to help her out. One of them would eventually be taking the bus. So Brian had done what would help not only her, but him as well. And well yeah, he knew that he'd be getting laid for a good long while. Every time Jaya looked at that car she would think of him. And that felt nice.

"Do you want to take it for a little test run?" Tag knew she'd fit in it, the car was so her, but he would love to get at least one picture of her driving it for the first time.

She was still grinning, just ridiculously flattered and overwhelmed. Yes, they were a happy sappy couple and all that. But there were presents, then there were presents, and this was a seriously big present.

While she’d be flattered at his concern for her safety, Jaya is a firm believer that she’s a big girl and can take care of herself. All that training hasn’t gone for nothing, you know? She can so handle anything. Well, maybe not anything but Jaya’s ego generally thinks she can. And yes, he certainly will be. Possibly a time or two in this pretty, pretty car that will keep her from doing the public transportation thing.

And oh yeah, that’s right, this thing was for driving. She’d been so excited about the car itself, using it for its actual purpose hadn’t just yet dawned on her. Her head bobbed up in down in an eager nod before she actually answered. “Of course I do!” Punching the button on the key fob to unlock the car, she moved towards the pink vehicle, pulling Brian along with her. Before getting in she turned around again, pulling him to her for another kiss as she wrapped her arms around him. “You are so the Best. Boyfriend. Ever.”

Well you know, he do what he do...when he do what he do!

"Yeah, well you deserve me." he grinned down at her, then pushed her in the direction of the driver's seat.

He was playing it cool, but Brian could sit around and listen to how amazing he was all day. Especially if Jaya was saying it. Bring it on, girl. He's all for it. Brian climbed into the passenger seat and pulled the seat back as far as it would go for ultimate leg room. He winked at Jaya and pulled out his phone. Had to catch his baby in her new wheels. And she still looked so happy. He'd done good. Or possibly better then good. Jaya was still bouncing.

"You know how to drive, right?" he teased. "Look, you push that little key into the hole...you know how to do that, right?"

After getting in the car and settling behind the wheel Jaya was still bouncing a little. Ok, so maybe now it was just being silly and girlish and over excited but whatever. Her baby got her a car! She will definitely be singing the praises of what an awesome boyfriend she has for a while now.

Reaching across to the passenger seat, Jaya gave Brian a light tap on the side of his arm. “Of course I know how!” Just because she’d never had a car of her own and didn’t use any of the school’s really didn’t mean she didn’t know at all. She’d learned when she’d reached the proper age just like most teenagers did. “And I’m totally gonna be careful with it too, don’t worry.” This is her first official car and do all the little details and ceremony that were fitting. “Oh, and should I name it?” She paused, scrunching up her nose a bit. “Do people even do that anymore?” Because God forbid she do something that could be construed as less than cool.
