Curling up in the rec room with a good book was something Marie-Ange had been known to do herself. Though her choices certainly were never as daring as the one Sharon currently had and the book tucked under her arm as she came into the room was no exception. Marie-Ange hadn’t been at the school very long when Sharon and Boyd got married and outside of X-Factor training still didn’t know either of them very well, but they did make quite a cute couple. Though it did seem a bit odd to her they were one of only two pairs here who were married, and that they were still students to boot. Still there was something about the pair that did seem to make sense, and Sharon herself certainly seemed to be the kind of person Marie-Ange wanted to get to know better. She seemed kind and level headed, both of which were things that unfortunately tended to be in short supply around the school more often than not.
Catching sight of the other young woman, Marie-Ange gave her a soft and friendly smile. “Hello, Sharon. I hope I am not interrupting your reading, but I see we both had the same idea of how to pass some time this afternoon.” Only not exactly, and it wasn’t until she took a seat on the opposite end of the couch that Marie-Ange caught the title of what the purple haired one was reading and realized as much. Somehow she kept her eyes from going noticeably wide. Sex was not a topic that had exactly been well covered in the Colbert household, and certainly not at the girl’s catholic school she’d been at before Xavier’s. Having a family, upbringing, and education all steeped in certain religious values meant it was a topic that had simply been deemed for the category ‘not until marriage.’ Well, Sharon was a married woman. But still, it was a rather…..bold choice for a public area of the school, wasn’t it? But that was really none of her business. Softly clearing her throat and doing her best to shrink into her end of the couch, Marie-Ange decided the best tactic would be to delve into her own book and let Sharon do the same. “Yes, well, I shall leave you to your reading, then. Terribly sorry if I was a disturbance of any kind.”
