Susan had been on duty when Percy - the stupid idiot - collapsed in his office. Honestly, were all men stupid? Well, with Chang not showing up for work either, perhaps she couldn't just blame men for overworking.
She was one of the few aurors still standing, and not feeling like crap. But with Percy gone, Susan knew she needed to go home and tell Cass about it. As much as she thought Percy an idiot, she did know that Cass would want to know.
Letting herself into Cass' flat, she heard him calling out. "It's me," she replied, glad at least that he was awake.. "You look like crap," she said plainly when she saw him, coming over and feeling his forehead for a fever before letting her fingers run through his hair.. She dropped a kiss on his cheek and looked worried. "How are you feeling?"
"Percy's at the shack." There was no point beating around the bush.. "The silly git was overworking and like somebody else I know, he just worked himself into the ground."
"He argued with his sister because he wanted to just go home, according to his secretary. But apparently he's now at the Shack."
