Summary: Megan is much worse and now she can't see anything except for her dead father.
Megan felt much worse today. She couldn't move and it felt like her head was about to explode. The pain potion that Anthony gave her wasn't working this time and a part of her thought she was going to die.
She had cried most of the morning, from the pain. Now, she just didn't have it in her to cry anymore. It wasn't changing things and it only made her tear ducts hurt. Right now, all she could do was try to think about things other than the pain. It wasn't an easy task.
Her mum did come and sit with her and tried to keep her entertained. Right now, her mum was making lunch but Megan doubted that she would be able to eat. She wasn't very hungry and sitting up was nearly impossible.
She closed her eyes for a few moments and drifted in and out of sleep. When the pain got worse she opened her eyes and her dad was standing there with a broom smiling at her. Megan wasn't thinking about the fact that her father was dead and that she shouldn't be able to see him or that he looked about twenty years younger. For Megan it was as if she was back in her bed and she was five years old again. She just shook her head. "I don't think I can go flying, Daddy. Mummy would be mad."
Her father sat on the edge of the bed and stroked her hair. "Well Princess, maybe your Mum is right this time. Maybe we should go flying another day, when you're feeling better."
Megan smiled weakly. "That would be nice Daddy."
Megan heard a noise at the door and looked toward it and couldn't see anything at all. Not her door, not her room, she was completely blind. She felt her heartbeat fast and could feel herself start to panic. "MUM!!!"
