Adrian grinned at Stephen's comment but kept his head down, eyes on the floor. It was nice to have some reassurance that Stephen wasn't completely immune to him. He wanted to look across at Liam at Sean's words but didn't, trusting that Stephen would tell him later if he asked. He couldn't imagine a world without magic and wondered if he could get a salve, something that would help without looking magical.
Sean smiled at Stephen. "I'm not underestimating him, I'm just surprised. After the last time, I didn't expect him to be so calm. I still don't think Midori's recovered from him talking back to her like that," he replied, smile brightening. "It's not common, you're right. We were just worried you couldn't separate the two. He needs his master here and his husband outside of the scene."
He laughed at Stephen's words. "If you wish to. Liam and I can't play like I want to and it'd be a shame to let a chance to see your boy on his best behaviour go to waste," he replied. "And of course we'll all weep with embarrassment with your beauty and intelligence but we'll live on somehow," he added dryly before sitting down and motioning for Liam to look up so he could watch too.
