Adrian could hear everything, even see some of it if it was in his line of sight, but not being able to look was killing him. He was too paranoid not to check out a room as soon as he entered it but he forced himself not to, reminding himself that Stephen had asked him to look at him not at anybody else.
When Stephen stopped, he stopped and was about to kneel when Stephen's fingers wrapped around his wrist and he spoke. The unfamiliarity made him look up at Stephen for a split-second before he nodded, able to see the single-tail when he sat down before he moved his eyes to the floor.
Sean looked around the room and ran his fingers through Liam's hair before looking back at Stephen. "So is there any particular reason he's behaving tonight?" he asked, glancing at Adrian cursorily and trying to figure what was the reason for such a dramatic change in behaviour.
"And does anything take your fancy?" he asked, gesturing towards the table and the instruments laid on it yet. "I haven't quite made up my mind yet."
