Cho looked over and checked on Higgs. It took her a second to realise that her mask was undone, and she cursed again in Mandarin. All that work to hide her identity, and now... well damn.
"We're about a mile from the apparition point." He really was looking the worse for wear, and well, now that he knew of her identity, then it would seem pointless to try and hide.
"Just play along and you'll get there in a hurry. I think I have one more jump in me." She grabbed him tight and made one more jump to the Auror checkpoint, this time with her mask gone.
She looked to her colleagues with concern. "Quick, I need to get this man to the Shack - he's a victim to a crime in one of my cases." Her colleagues recognised her, and she told them to waive his papers, as he was a part of her case.
Once past the checkpoint, she saw that he was really far too injured to ride or hobble. "I'll immobilise you again, and then levitate you the rest of the way, it's quickest, and you won't be in any more pain."
She cast the spells, feeling just a little sorry, and once she cast the 'mobilicorpus' she levitated him a step behind her as she tried to hurry to his home. Merlin knew why there was better than the Shack, but she suspected the sort of work he did, and that he hated the Shack as much as she would if she was required to go there.
