Cho wasn't feeling so good after her first jump, but side along wasn't her favourite form of travel in the first place.
She heard his occasional groan, but at least his wound wasn't getting moved about. It took the better part of a couple of hours before she found herself back in the field just past the checkpoint into town.
Cho collapsed on the ground next to where she'd left her broom. "Finite incantatem," she managed to say, taking off Higgs' spell. She lay back on the grass for a moment, catching her breath. She didn't realise her mask had slipped, and she was wondering if she shouldn't just take him by broom.
If she went to a checkpoint, no doubt one of her colleagues would question her. Damn. She had not been thinking. Perhaps it was that damn flu that was going around the office. She was starting to feel a little off, but that had to be all the apparition.
She looked over to Higgs, checking to see if he was still all right. "Come on, you're going to have to do this last bit by broom. Think you can make it?"
