Montague turned to the elf, "a bourbon for our guest, the usual for me." He said smoothly, the elf bowing and popping off. Turning back to Lucius, he kept his face even and nodded. "Quite well. He's a rather intelligent boy, he has been thriving in his studies. He is shaping up to be worthy to be called a Montague." He finished proudly, looking to the pop that appeared in the room as the elf came in with their drinks.
Letting Mr Malfoy take his own first, Montague then reached out for his own brandy and gave an even smile. "I'm sure, however, we're not here to talk about my son..." That threw him for a moment, had he used that term to someone besides Verity yet? Mentally ignoring it, he focused all his attention back on Lucius.
Leaning forward slightly, he turned his glass in his hand and smiled slightly. "I have to say, the plans for the bank have only proceeded minimally as of now; as, I'm sure you've heard, Theo's wife just gave birth."
