Susan gave herself a self-congratulatory pat on the back when Cass seemed to see the same patterns in the evidence.
Taking his note, she saw what he needed, and nodded. "Yes, I'll get them to see this. I'll see what they have on file from London." She had not been familiar with the Fawcett case, but would go and pull it out of the files.
She gave him a look when he asked about writing to Bletchley. "I'm sure I'm the last person he wants to talk to right now, and it might be easier coming from you."
But she stopped and turned. "No, I'll have to write to him anyway - inform him officially when the Three Broomsticks is no longer a crime scene, and we're ready to hand it over to his son." A sigh escaped her lips at the thought of that. "Merlin knows what they want to do with the place."
Susan thought about the evidence for a minute. "It could be a possibility. I mean, if your pumpkin juice was off you wouldn't continue to drink it. If there was enough potion in her blood to stop it clogging, then perhaps a vampire wasn't really in the mood for a drink."
