Summary: Gabrielle is feeling down about a certain vampire's departure. Little does she know...
Gabrielle had not stopped feeling terrible since seeing Dennis. The darling boy she knew was most assuredly gone, and whether or not he was a reluctant vampire, he was horrifying. She wanted to help the poor thing, but also wanted to survive. No decision could be made, though, because Dennis had disappeared... with her prized possession, no less.
She had always held that notebook with her. The worn paper was more important than even her wand. It was filled with music, poetry, and private thoughts that she could not bear to think were being read by anybody but herself, let alone a vampire. It was childish, but Gabbi could not shake the sadness that was incurably hovering over her. In fact, sadness was something Gabbi rarely felt at all. It paralyzed her so that, while Fleur had gone to the Aurors' Benefit for Valentine's Day, the younger sister remained home in bed. Gabrielle could not recall a year before this one that she did not have a Valentine of her own, and it was her fault.
The children at the Primary School were noticing that their music teacher was glowing considerably less, and she felt guilty that she could not be the sparkling influence she wanted to be for them and for Fleur. Today seemed like it was going to be just as the others, resulting in hours of being locked in her room after getting home from a rather fruitless walk. Climbing the stairs of her sister's house, Gabrielle daintily removed a certain leather coat- not her own- that she had taken to wearing. Her hand on the door to her room, she swore she heard a sound. The girl stood for a moment in the hall, blinking, before cautiously opening the door.
She jumped back with a surprised gasp. Gabrielle Delacour was not the only blonde in her room.
