Summary: The first annual Valentine's Ball Fundraiser to Benefit the British Aurors.
Pansy took a final look around the room. It was nearly time for guests to arrive, and she wanted to be absolutely sure that everything was completely perfect. Terry had finished the charms for the decorations, and Pansy had to smile at how lovely the club looked. The counter was in a prominant place and would keep track of the donations to the Aurors. She was pleased that he had managed to incorporate all the colors of diamonds that she had wanted, and there was already a layer of jewels filling the bottom from donations they had received from those who could not attend.
Cute little cupids floated with their arrows at the moment, but Terry promised her they would become more active once guests arrived. Terry had truly outdone himself on the decorations, and every time Pansy looked at the room, she saw something new that she hadn't noticed before. She would have to treat the Superhero somehow, to thank him for all his hard work. She wanted if he did spas.....
If he didn't, she intended to introduce him to the experience.
The food discreetly lined the area with the dining tables. The elves of the B'n'B had been working for days to get ready for the event, and Pansy had even let Hilly bake her heart out for the evening. She'd told Harry to be sure to say something to her later, about how well received her pastries had been and how everyone had enjoyed them. Hilly was a wonderful cook so it wouldn't be untrue.
The bars were well-stocked and the champagne and wines were of excellent vintages. She'd already sampled the champagne, two glasses worth, and she was feeling quite bubbly herself.
Pansy had changed here at the club after the food and decorations were all set, slipping into her beautiful red gown and black strappy sandals. Her hair had been charmed into an elegant chignon with tendrils escaping at strategic points to soften the look.
She just wished Draco would be there. He'd be proud of her. She'd done well. Better than well, even.
Well, she also wished Harry would dance with her.
Actually, she wished a few other things about Harry, but this wasn't going to be a night where her dearest wishes came true. She hoped they did for somebody, though.
