He nodded at her insistance and allowed her to fuss. "I'll try to get a few winks in. Its going to be difficult with running the club for Draco while he's away but I'll do what I can."
"I need the auror report from that too if you can get it for me. I want to see if we can track them with all the public bolloxing they did. Its time we started fighting back instead of sitting on ars...laurels."
He'd almost slipped and swore in front of her. Grown man or no, he still respected Minerva, and he tried not to do it in her prescence.
"I'll see if I can get clearance to take a look through the aurors office," he said to derail that he'd already gotten a way in. "Maybe we can figure things out and see if that really was the case or not. Something tells me its more than a simple murder though."
He was obsessing over these two things and he knew it, but he hadn't done anything in awhile and he wanted to get back into the swing of things. He wanted to help, before he lost someone close to him again.
He barely resisted the urge to drink from the flask again in full sight of Minerva, but not before his hand strayed about halfway and he chided himself for it. She'd have a field day if he drank around her. Probably have every Weasley ear inside of an hour buzzing like mad.
