He nodded when she said something about the sleep deprivation and let it roll over as old hat. He did try to make it known to her he appreciated the sentiment, but that it did little good.
"I'm too busy to sleep these days unfortunately, so whatever little I do get has to be enough. Too many things to do and not enough hours in the day," he said, slumping down into the chair in typical Weasley fashion.
He eyed the cakes as they appeared and after a nod from Minerva filled each hand and politely but quickly ate both. He returned to the sweets to think as Minerva asked him the obvious question, buying time by stuffing his face and being unable to talk. Eventually he sighed and looked at her.
"Its the most recent one actually and one I can get my hands on without too much trouble. I wanted it because I believe something more is at stake here. I think it may be connected to Rabastan and Lisa running around town."
He thought about it and decided that was a very good reason. He left his personal vendetta out of it for now, as he had no intentions of talking with Minerva McGonagall about his first experience with a woman. EVER
"I think someone bolloxed up big time with this one, and I intend to help in any way I can."
