Ron pushed the door in and kept the smile bright upon his face as best he could.
He presented the daisies with a shrug and a nod mumbling something about them being for her and that it was the least he could do, being as she was serving tea.
He stood and waited for a minute as she looked him over as she had so many years before, but this time tried not to fidget as much under her critical eye. She would notice that he'd gotten taller for sure, and that he seemed tired, the bags under his eyes from many nights of drinking and passing out on the couch at work of late showing their toll.
The flask he carried was hidden away under a jacket. Ron knew she would ask if she found it and he wasn;t terribly keen on admitting to his old professor that he carried one "for emergencies."
After being inspected he sat down in the indicated chair and waited for the pleasentries to be over so they could get down to why he was here.
