Miles had a retort on his tongue about marriage and her mudblood, but kept it to himself. He was in no mood to fight with her any longer.

He stopped when she mentioned that Daphne and Nigel wouldn't be living with them. He already had a reason worked out, so he wasn't concerned. "Leave that to me."
His face turned into a smile when he saw his son, and he gave him a cuddle. "Come on, we've imposed on Millicent long enough. You got everything?" Liam nodded, and looked around for Daphne. "She's with Nigel, and they're going to have to go and do some stuff at their house for a while, okay? Now run up to your room and go get your bag."
