Millicent's eyes widened. 'You're trying to blame me for this?' she snapped. 'You're amazing, do you know that? And not in a good way!'
'You, not me, you, left the contract out for them to find. You were the one who failed to inform me of what was going on. You were the one to bloody hell get married in the first place!' she snapped.
She glared right back at him. 'How exactly did you figure that I'd know what was going on?' she asked, her hands on her hip. 'How exactly did you suppose that I'd know this wasn't a real marriage!' she snorted. 'How was I supposed to know this wasn't something he was supposed to know?'
'Besides, your son knows more than you think. He and Ella had already read contract, marriage and your name by the time they came in here.'
He rolled her eyes as he focused on Daphne, changing his tone. 'It would of course not be usual if he wasn't daft enough to leave things in child friendly heights,' she added sweetly to Daphne. 'But I told you about the porn, didn't I?' she added. 'Now I made the mistake in thinking he'd learnt from that discussion.'
