Severus looked up from the essays he was marking with an arched eyebrow and a jaundiced look on his face when Stephen walked into his office without so much as a by-your-leave. If Stephen had been a student, he would have left just as abruptly with a flea in his ear but Severus tended to be just a touch more lenient with his colleagues.
"Since my only other option right now is to continue marking the tripe that my First Years call essays, I expect I can make some time," he said sourly. His expression lightened slightly at the mention of Faustus and he nodded once. "Good. He tells me he enjoys your lessons."
