'And yet a manor is so...not me,' he said with another smirk. 'I'd take a town house or large luxurious flat in the centre or town any day. Much more me.'
'Of course at the moment I settle for a barely visited flat in Hogsmeade, but you can't have everything in times of war.' And with the manor locking him out and being impossible to sell it wasn't really an option for him to have more than he did. Fuck his grandfather.
'And see, this is only one of the many reasons I adore you,' he said with a wink. 'You're so much fun.'
For a moment he thought he noticed something changing in her when he touched her hair, but it was gone so quickly he paid it no heed. 'Well even the sun isn't perfect,' he said with a smile. 'Though you get pretty close,' he added with a wink.
Their dinner arrived just then and he silenced as he waited for it all to be served, waiting for them to go before raising his glass. 'To having fun,' he said keeping her gaze.
