Susan wasn't sure if she believed Bletchley's distress, but there were still too many questions left unanswered. Why did he not mention the fight with Rosmerta? What were they fighting about? Did he know that Rosmerta's will left the pub to his son, where he would be able to control the place until the boy came of age.
She tried to stop Hunt's tirade. Some of these foreign aurors had the most appalling interviewing techniques. Even worse than her own. But before she could stop him, he was yelling in Bletchley's face. Before she could even blink, Bletchley had drawn his wand and Susan saw Hunt flying through the air from a stunner.
Without thinking she cast an immobilisation spell at Bletchley, freezing him in his tracks. "Well that was a bit stupid, wasn't it?"
Racing over to Hunt, she checked to see that he was still in one piece. He looked okay, even if he seemed surprised. "You bloody arse. That was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. We don't play good cop, bad cop here." Susan had watched some police shows on the tv when she was at Cass' Uncle's house over Christmas, and was familiar with the technique.
Looking back to Bletchley, she cast a spell to bind his hands, taking his wand away from him in the process. She released the immobilisation and grabbed his arm. "Well even if I only wanted to clarify some details with you Bletchley, now I'm going to have to charge you with assaulting an auror." Damn stupid men and their egos. Mind, if Hunt hadn't provoked him, he would not have struck back.
