Susan closed her eyes and cursed quietly when Hunt opened his mouth. Merlin, was this her investigation or his? The man had as much tack as a Cruciatus curse.
She gave Hunt a glare that told him to keep his mouth shut.
Now Bletchley was all defensive. Great. She kept her frustration under control as she tried to stay calm. "Yes, Miss Capper was unsure if she was with you last Friday. I was hoping you could provide a receipt, or some proof of where you were. It would make things much easier."
At the mention of Paris, she raised an eyebrow. "I didn't see any records of a portkey purchase for Paris, Mr Bletchley, however, we do see that you have one for Russia this weekend."
"If you went to Paris, how did you get there?" Somehow, she doubted this fellow took muggle means to get there. He didn't seem to be the type to take the Eurail train the muggles were so proud of.
