Miles had just managed to bundle Liam off to school, and came back home. He was wretchedly tired. He'd had a fight with Lettie that morning, as she'd forgotten who she was and where she was again. It wasn't that his patience had been stretched, just that he was a touch tired. He was making plans for the weekend with Daphne, and was trying to tie up a few loose ends before he left. But he figured he'd take a bit of a quick nap on the couch, and be up in time for lunch.
He certainly wasn't expecting the knock at the door at such an early hour, and he scowled. Muttering and grumbling under his breath, he answered the door. He saw the two aurors there again, scowling furiously at the tall git with the sour face. "Yes, what do you want?" he said, not in any mood to be pleasant.
