Susan tried not to pinch the bridge of her nose. She seriously loved her job, but would rather be out there with her wand and throwing hexes at dark wizards. Questioning people - it was not her cup of tea.
"Mr Bletchley's credentials as a father are not under question, and we are merely trying to eliminate anyone who had recent contact with the deceased." She wasn't going to elaborate any further.
She also refrained from saying anything else, as she really didn't know why she wasted as much breath on this woman as she already had. The woman could not corroborate the alibi, which meant she was going to have to question him further.
For someone with such a terrible memory, she was doing a good job of remembering an appointment. Susan refrained from narrowing her eyes at her in distrust, but nodded her head and was gracious. "Well thank you for your time. I can see myself out."
Not waiting for any further comments, she turned and walked back down the hill. This investigation was just causing more and more work. Damn.
