Daphne flushed a bit again, laughing. "I think Miles is a good man, if not a bit dense sometimes," she said, thinking back to the night at the Three Broomsticks. "At the very least, he loves his son, and that's always a good indication. Besides, he's rather charming when he tries." Then she shut her mouth, realizing she'd spoken about him a bit too much than normal.
"Actually, Terence and I are rather good friends," she said brightly. "I've seen him a couple times since Nigel grew enough for me to leave the house. And you're quite right," she said deviously. The boy knew what he was doing.
Daphne nodded. "Always better to have more than what you need," she said approvingly. "Plus, then the child can choose its favorite color on its own," she finished with a wink.
