Daphne stood as she saw Millicent walking over. "It's good to see you too," she said, grinning. "You're looking wonderful." Actually, Millicent looked a bit tired, and she wondered if her pregnancy was already taking it's toll or something.
Nigel reached for the finger that was offered, and he grabbed it with a rather strong grip, giggling happily at the sound of her voice. At the sound of Liam's name, he shouted "Li!" rather loudly, and Daphne chuckled.
"I think he misses his friend already," she said. "Liam was trying to teach him how to talk a couple of days ago." Her eyes were bright as she watched her son. "He is...isn't he." There was no need to be humble about it - her son was perfect.
