Pansy giggled, hugging him tightly. 'Good!' she said brightly. 'I love dancing with you, darling,' she told him. 'And my dress has a lovely part that will just float away on the air as we dance and it will be quite beautiful!' she added happily.
She had to laugh. 'Darling, I sent invitations to everyone breathing and then some,' she announced. 'She got one, I'm sure of it. And I'll try to get hold of her to make the offer,' she added. 'Do you have any colour preferences? For you, I mean.' She shrugged. 'Or Natalie, if you have a strong inclination....' she added.
'Oh, Merlin, that is so dangerous!' she sighed. 'People like us get intrigued with people who tell us no. And then we end up actually having to work for what we want. Don't they know things are supposed to come easily to us????' she complained.
'Do you want me to talk to him?' she teased. 'No, I wouldn't do that to you,' she added. 'Although I could put in many, many good words for you....' she smiled, kissing him on the chin.
Pansy frowned. 'Oh, Cass....' she breathed. Sighing, she shook her head. 'I just don't get the whole unprofessional thing. I mean, who cares if the person you're shagging works for you?' she said. 'I mean, I suppose if you were being forced because he was your boss, but that's not the case so....'
'Any chance he'll go back to pushing papers for Ogden?' she suggested hopefully.
