Terry laughed, and shrugged. "Not really. But I have books!" He dug in his pocket and pulled out the three shrunken tour guides he'd found in the Muggle Studies area of the library.
"I was thinking, unless you didn't want to, we could go to the castle," Terry said, opening to the part in the book that told about the castle. "Edinburgh Castle, home to the Edinburgh Tattoo, is a magnificently situated royal fortress located on one of the highest points in the city. The castle has been continuously in use for 1000 years and is in excellent condition," he read, showing Ernie a picture of the castle. "And then there's shopping and food just up the hill from there, and cinemas too."
He smiled shyly. "I really like history, and in this book," he showed Ernie a Wizarding guide to Edinburgh, "it tells all about the magical history of the castle, which is more than one would think." He hoped Ernie didn't think he was too much of a nerd, wanting to spend the morning making a historical study of a castle. However...he figured in a castle there would be several shadowy corners they could snog in, if the urge took them.
