Seamus was on his way to Millicent's as soon as he'd sent off the owl, flying Cormac's broom faster than he reasonably should be doing. In less than a couple of minutes Seamus was at the front stoop of her house, and he knocked on the door almost frantically.
His eyes were red from having cried so much with Susan, his face pale, and he shook his head at Millicent's question.
"No."
He stepped inside the house when she moved to let him in and then turned toward her, frowning.
"I need to talk to you someplace private. Where Ella can't overhear."
