Susan's quill was furiously writing off notes about everything that Seamus said. Hooch, Kevin... "Kevin who?" she asked, not sure of his name. "And Persephone - that's one of the barmaids?"
She raced over behind him to see what was so shocking, and she let out an audible gasp. "Merlin, what happened..." There was fire damage, and mismatched furniture and burn marks everywhere.
Seamus suddenly broke down in tears on the floor, which wasn't at all surprising. She came over, putting a hand on his shoulder. After a moment, she decided he needed a hug, and offered up her shoulder as a perfect spot for him to let it all out.
"Shhhh," she said quietly as she ran a hand over his hair. She didn't say that everything was going to be all right, because it wasn't, at least, not for him.
