Seamus nodded when she asked if he could close the bar. "I can do that."
He scratched his nose, wincing a little as he accidentally hit his bruise, and thought about where Rosie kept her papers. he nodded again. "Yeah, she keeps all the pub's documents in the cabinet by her desk."
He frowned at her next question, pulling in a shaky breath, not wanting to think about that part. Not wanting to think about someone who would want to kill Rosie. No one would want to kill Rosie, even though someone obviously had done.
"No idea," he replied honestly. "Everyone loves Rosie. I don't think anyone would want to actually kill her." He flinched at the word, his eye twitching a little.
When she asked if anything was missing, he shrugged, not really having gone to check at all. He knew Rosie kept the payrolls in a small box on her desk, and he stood up shakily and walked out of the bathroom.
At the desk, he opened the small box, sighing a little when he realised it was empty.
