Dennis wanted to ask how he could tell if it was tainted. It wasn't until it was down the back of his throat he noticed anything wrong with it. But before he could speak, Jander was right there, a menacing look on his face.
He smirked out the side of his mouth. Was he supposed to take that threat seriously? He had no idea.
"Don't worry, mate. You won't see me for dust. And in a hundred years or so, when you run into me again, you'll be the one who'll be cowering in fear."
He knew Jander wasn't going to like him standing up to him like that, and so he took his leave straight away, running down the stairs and out the door.
Just when he was looking forward to tormenting the town, and his brother. Who knew, perhaps he could come back in a few years, just when they've forgotten all about him. He'd be back - back for good.
