She was frightened, frightened and faint and starting to feel dizzy. Somehow she seemed unable to bring herself to speak - only kept pushing him away. He was heavier than he should be, not strong, just heavy - or maybe she was weak she wasn't sure any more. Somewhere in the back of her mind she realised that he'd pulled away, but she couldn't think, couldn't focus and her vision was starting to get blurry.
A desperate groan left her as she tried to move, only to find herself too heavy, the black dots dancing before her eyes ever more rapidly. 'Help,' she managed to whisper, her voice as faint as she felt. She didn't notice the tears, just the loss of feeling in her limbs and the instant feeling of regret. She wanted him gone, away, just not there. She wanted Sanguini there instead - he'd know what to do. He'd not let this happen.
And yet with every breath she tried to take, she started to think that perhaps she wouldn't see him again.
