Cass smirked. 'Good, then I'm doing something good,' he said with a smirk, though it faded slightly when Percy went on.
'I think I knew more about unfair than most people growing up, but that doesn't stop me from being frustrated when I know someone has done something yet can do nothing about it.'
He sighed, and looked at Percy. 'I found the man who attacked Lettie,' he then said. 'And no I didn't do anything I shouldn't be doing, but I found him, and questioned him and examined his wand. He modified her memory - or rather failed to modify her memory and ended up messing it up completely - because he didn't want her to leave him.'
He frowned. 'The worst part is knowing that even if Scarlett filed a report it wouldn't do any good. He's one of the most influential men in Italy, there is no way they Italian Aurory would arrest him for something he did to a British woman while vacationing in Spain - no matter the evidence.'
