"Again, someone sane, I would think." Why was she almost teasing him? Such abnormal behavior for her, but perhaps it was the money she now knew she had- or the light drink she had in her system.
She rose a brow when he questioned her answer, feeling strangely amused by the situation. "Yes. It does. In fact, it has much to do with something." Jill continued as she watched him wave over another drink, still content with her own.
In the middle of taking a sip, she rose a brow at his next question. She was beginning to wonder what he was doing, exactly. Perhaps he was trying to find something out about her...though she didn't think so, he wasn't a very good spy- or at least, not one that seemed all that...subtle, and she would have caught on to something so sinister.
But the drink was making her tongue loose, and he was amusing her (something that rarely happened anymore), so she'd indulge him, leaning forward towards him slightly, an almost wicked grin on her features. "Eat out the hearts of my enemies." She said almost in a dead-pan before her eyes flashed mischeviously and she leaned back again, feeling only more amused by her fake answer. "No. I read." Among other things, not that she'd spill everything to him in one simple sitting, just because she was feeling amused.
