She had been feeling restless, and it was keeping Kingsley awake, and she felt horrible. Normally she'd gotten used to just getting out of bed, walking around the house some at least until the baby stopped, or she felt tired enough that his movements didn't matter much anymore. But this time, well, the full moon was tonight and she figured she should check on everyone, get things ready, and it really wasn't a long walk...
Hestia wrote a quick owl, leaving it for Kingsley so he didn't worry, before getting dressed and grabbing her cloak. It was rather quiet, and very still...strange for most evenings, even if they were warned to go inside most nights anymore. Pulling her cloak tighter, she kept her wand at the ready beneth them, and nearly sighed in relief when she entered the Clinic, revelling in the warmth.
Hanging up her cloak, she'd just entered the kitchen to put the kettle on when she heard a knock. That was strange, and for a very strange time of night. The sun was nearly rising already...
Wiping off her hands on a towel, she walked down the hall, making sure her wand was in reachable range before opening the door. The man on other side was not what she'd expected.
Pale. He looked almost like death, but his eyes were bright and the smile he was giving her was rather sweet. "Can I help you?" Hestia asked, putting a hand on her stomach looking at him curiously.
