Emma gently played the drums on Seamus's head as they walked towards the cinema, and he squatted down a little when they were there so that she could see all the films that were out.
She scanned the list quickly (it always amazed Seamus that she was actually able to read at her age), and then she bounced on his shoulders for a moment as she excitedly tapped on Seamus's head.
"I want to see Narnia! Mummy used to read the books to me."
She looked down at Colin with puppy dog eyes, batting her eyelashes for added effect.
"Can we go see Narnia?" she asked, her voice almost pouty.
Seamus tried to keep from sniggering at the child, but he couldn't help it. The sound of her voice and the look on Colin's face were just too priceless.
