He shook his head. 'But would what's best for him be to never see her again?' he asked. 'As horrible as she is, she is his mother.' Although he would have preferred if she wasn't. Then again he'd have preferred if none of this happened at all. 'I'll talk to her about it when I go to pick the boy up,' he said instead. 'Though I'm still not fond of the idea.'
He ran his thumb over Percy's fingers, thinking of what else to bring up, then smirked as he remembered. 'I brought a picture of him,' he said, reaching into his pocked. He could barely keep from chuckling as he glanced at the photo, then at Percy, waiting just a moment before he handed him the framed photograph. 'Think he'll fit in?' he asked with a teasing tone.
