Fred had burst into 7 Oddington like he had a firecracker lit under his arse. He'd been on a walk, just like he did every day, in search of a home for himself and Katie... and he'd found one! With a house just like it next door for George and Parvati should they want it. But for now, he'd have to find Katie and see what she thought before they put an offer in.

"KATIE! Love.... where are you?" He'd found her coming at him somewhat panicked and he dispelled it at once. "Nothing's wrong lovely, just come with me." He couldn't keep the smile off of his face even as they descended the stairs and out onto the main street.

Katie had been upstairs going through some case papers she'd been working on when she heard Fred downstairs shouting for her. She reached for her wand gasping it tightly and went running down the stairs to see what had Fred in such a state. After this weekend she couldn't possibly imagine it to be anything good.

She frowned at him when he assured her that nothing was the matter, "Fred Weasley, you know things are a mess right now, I can't believe you." She muttered to herself as he practically dragged her the rest of the way down the stairs and out the door.

"Where exactly are we going?" She asked, pushing her wand into a pocket as she let Fred lead her towards who knows what.

Fred shook his head and furrowed his brow. "Put your wand away, you can be cross at me later.... and of course you can believe me, what else did you expect?" Leading Katie out the front door, he tried to coax her along a little faster.

"You'll see when we get there. It's not far." Fred was way too excited, Katie could probably see from the look on his face. "Just around the corner here." And as they rounded the corner, Fred maneuvered himself to cover Katie's eyes, receiving several smacks and hearing giggles in the meantime.

In front of them was the perfect house for them. It was small, but spacious and inconspicuous... and best of all, there was another similar to it next door if George and Vati wanted to move in. "Alright, I guess you can look." Fred took away his hands in time to rub the spot on his abdomen where Katie had just whacked him a good one.
