BOOK: Theo to Rodolphus
Date: September 6, 2006
Characters: Theo, Rodolhus
Location: Nott Manor
Summary: Theo writes to to demand a meeting with a man that can give him what he craves the most. Revenge.
His eyes were dry and red when he finally moved from the chair he'd been sitting in. He wasn't sure when healer Mallard had left them, or how long he'd sat by the side of his son's bed, holding his tiny hand as he struggled to keep breathing. He knew somehow it was morning and that he hadn't slept at all, but somehow it didn't matter. He wouldn't have been able to sleep if he wanted to now.
His mind was spinning as much as his feelings were roaring inside him. He couldn't even bring himself to feel grief for Padma yet, because the space inside him that were reserved for feelings were filled up with the blazing hot hatred he felt for Lisa Lestrange.
Finally getting up as Mimsy came to try and feed Nathaniel, Theo walked mindlessly around the house, eventually finding himself in his study. He didn't even notice as he picked up the ancient vase from its pedestal and flung it at the wall, a cry of anger and fury leaving him. A portrait jumped and woke, but he paid no attention to it. Instead he walked with long strides over to the book, anger and wish for revenge taking over his sense caution as he tore it out of its place and carried it over to the desk.
Rodolphus, not only alive but very much alive. Staging an attack at Godric's Hollow if the notes he'd thrown into the fire when they were delivered to him where he sat by Nathaniel's side. He'd barely read them, but he'd realised enough. Rodolphus had played him, and the result was Lisa killing his wife and almost killing his son.
He would have his revenge. Rodolphus owed it to him. There was no other thought in his head as he put the quill to the parchment.
