John thought of the women who had to raise their children with no money, no house elves, no carriages. They had done a wonderful job, without spouting such nonsense. Yet another reason why he'd tried to have patients from the lower classes; they were so much more reasonble.
"You'll do just fine," he said, instead.
He smiled when they finally stopped. He got outside, and helped her out. "Lead the way, my dear," he said, knowing that the walk, while slow would help her get ready.
