Theo was hardly surprised by what Draco said in his letter, nor could he fail to see the logic in the words. It was undoubtedly for the best of everyone if Rodolphus died - but from knowing said fact to feeling it were a vast gap.
In the end of the day Theo didn't want Rodolphus to die, even if he knew it was a necessity.
Still, it would not be polite not to answer, so he picked up a quill and penned out a reply.
