Summary: Lee's radio show.
For once, Lee approached his radio show with some degree of seriousness, though his inward glee that stemmed knowing he was going to put up the nose of Uber-Bitch again was dancing in his chest happily.
He flicked on everything and pulled the microphone close.
“Witches and wizards of all ages and persuasions, welcome once again to A River Runs Through It, here to meet all your music, politics, and gossip and opinion needs. This is your host, River, here to meet all of these needs.
“I must say, my faithful viewers, that I have been provided with the most delightful tidbit of news. From a source relatively high up in the Ministry, I found out that our most delightful Minister became most upset upon learning that Percy Weasley, the esteemed,” no sarcasm there, “head of the Auror department, was in a very personal romantic relationship with an ex-Auror, one Cassius Vaisey. If you haven’t heard, our toady leader is none too fond of those of the homo- or bi-sexual persuasion.
“Apparently this was a quite explosive reaction. Really, we shouldn’t have anyone so intolerant claiming to lead us. We have the right to have what desires we have so logn as we aren’t forcing our choices upon others.
“So, my viewers, what are we going to do? Let her rule what we do behind closed doors now as well as in the public eye? If such lofty individuals such as the head of the auror department and an ex-Auror aren’t safe, then what makes us think we are safe either?
“Think about it, ladies and gentlemen, and have a good evening. This was A River Runs Through It, and this is River, signing off. The next song is ‘I Kissed a Girl and I Liked It,’ by a muggle artist. Enjoy.”
He signed off and flicked the music on and leaned back. Oh, how he hoped this pissed off Umbridge… and that it did whatever Harry et al wanted it to do.
