He'd just put the book away when Percy stepped into the room, alerted to his arrival by Plato as usual. The question, however, caught him off guard and he couldn't help but to break out in laughter.
'Please, I have no desire to poison us,' he finally said, still chuckling while shaking his head. 'And do you really think it would spell nice if I had?' He raised an eyebrow, still smiling with amusement. Then he got up and walked over to Percy. A bit slower than his usual movement, but he was getting better faster now that he moved outside the house too.
'I ordered from the inn,' he said softly, kissing Percy. 'Happy birthday, by the way. In case you had forgotten.'
