'Told you so,' Cass said with a wink. 'After all, you know something is wrong when the Malfoys are generally considered the ideal parents.' And yet, a part from his own father, Lucius Malfoy was probably one of the best ones around in that house.
He did feel a slight hint of guilt when Percy mentioned the political arena. He knew what his ambitions had been, knew he'd been forced to give them up to be able to be with him. 'We'll find a way,' he said softly. 'Or rather, you'll find a way. I'd probably just do something the bitch would consider illegal.' He smirked, then started laughing as Percy went on.
'I doubt you'd survive her parties. I think I slept for two days after the last one I had to attend,' he laughed, though of course that had to do with two very insatiable young women taking turns with him all night, though he didn't mention that to Percy. 'She'd love it though,' he said instead. 'Not only an excuse for a party but an opportunity to shock the entire pureblood society and gossip to boot? I think she'd either adopt you or kiss you - or both.'
