Cass nodded, squeezing her tighter for a moment before letting go. A small smirk came over his lips when she continued though and he nodded. 'Yeah, it only took me nearly dying to grow a brain,' he joked.
'Morag and Percy? Together?' He wasn't sure why the thought sent a surge of jealously through him, but he pushed it down. It was ridiculous, after all. The woman was married, Percy was happy with him. Besides, he'd never been jealous in his life, why start now? 'I hope you'd think this is better or I might just have to try and hex you...when I have a wand and you're not looking of course,' he teased, chuckling as she hugged him again.
'I don't think you need to worry about us getting hurt. We're in this for forever, there is no going back now. Neither one of us would want there to be, even if he's too chicken to say he loves me,' Cass said with a smirk. He was too much of a Slytherin to doubt that Percy did. He'd seen enough of people hesitating for those words, for the weakness they showed.
Percy would definitely have fitted into Slytherin.
'I know what you mean,' he said with a smile. 'I know what I'd do without Percy and it wasn't a pretty sight. I am far too selfish to ever go through that again.'
