Ginny felt her heart go out to Cass, and leaned forward to hug him. "I'm so sorry about your mum," she said. There wasn't anything else she could think of to say, couldn't bring herself to lie and say she was sure his mother would be fine. They both knew that wasn't a possibility. Not when it was Rodolphus Lestrange behind it. "I'm glad you pulled your head out of your arse and realized that Percy could help you though."
She gave a small grin when he told her she'd have to get in line behind Morag. "You know, I used to think those two would end up together. They were always fighting from what little I saw of them together," she said. "But you know, I think you're better for him. And lord knows he's got to be good for you. Everything worked out as it should, I think." She hugged him again and leaned back.
"And you know I'm just as ready to kick his ass if he hurts you," she said, grinning. "After all you're family now, and that's what family does."
She shrugged. "Scary at first but now...I'm not sure what I'd do without him. He keeps me grounded and in control."
